Framework of Implementation

In close cooperation with the government and the electricity utilities, NUMO will work towards implementing safe disposal of high-level radioactive waste

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization of Japan (NUMO) was established in order to promote the implementation of disposal of high-level waste originating from nuclear power generation.d
