Dr. Sung Soo Cha, CEO of KORAD, and Dr. Kondo, President of NUMO signed the agreement and they had a meeting after the signing ceremony.
Dr. Kondo explained the current situation of nuclear power plants in Japan and NUMO's latest activities of Research and Development and nationwide public meetings to enhance understanding about the geological disposal project.
Dr. Sung Soo Cha explained the status of site selection for geological disposal. He also explained the present disposal situation of Wolseong Low and Intermediate Level Radioactive waste Disposal Center (WLDC) KORAD has been operating. Both KORAD and NUMO introduced current status of R&D and had an exchange of views.
KORAD and NUMO continue cooperation in the field of radioactive waste management for mutual benefit through this cooperation agreement.

NUMO does not disclose or provide your personal information to third parties without your consent. However, personal information may be provided in the case of the need to protect human life, body, or individual property and obtaining your consent is not feasible.

In the event of outsourcing some or all of the provided personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use, we select contractors that sufficiently fulfill the required level of personal information protection and supervise and manage the contractors.
